Starbucks is well known for its line of special drinks and festive red cups during the holiday season. This year, they've added a new limited-time item to their standard list of seasonal fare.
Fans of a chocolatey drink on a winter day can enjoy the festive zip of minty candy cane in their mocha drink with the new Merry Mint White Mocha. The coffee comes iced with espresso, white chocolate sauce and milk, topped with peppermint chocolate cream cold foam and chocolate curls.
A twist on the ever-popular classic Peppermint Mocha which is generally served hot, this white chocolate alternative gives those year-round iced coffee lovers a new option to enjoy.
However, don't expect to see the new item on the menu board in person, as this drink is an in-app exclusive. Luckily, it's simple to download the Starbucks mobile app and place a quick pick-up order at your closest location.
According to Starbucks, the drink will only be available until Dec. 22, so those wanting to give it a try should consider hopping on it soon.

Other 2023 Starbucks holiday treats

Other iced holiday options include:
- Iced Gingerbread Latte
- Iced Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte
- Iced Caramel Brulée Latte
- Iced Chestnut Praline Latte
- Iced Peppermint Mocha
- Iced Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha
In some locations, Iced Pumpkin Spice Lattes and Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiatos are still available.
For those uninterested in braving an icy drink in the chilly weather, there are plenty of options to boost your holiday spirit. Hot coffee menu items you will only see around the holidays include:
- Gingerbread Latte
- Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte
- Caramel Brulée Latte
- Chestnut Praline Latte
- Pumpkin Spice Latte
- Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato
- Peppermint Mocha.
Typically, holiday flavors remain available into the first few weeks of January before disappearing for the year. Luckily, those looking to enjoy them while they're here have a chance this month with the “Festive Thurs-Yays" deal, which offers rewards members 50% off on one drink every Thursday afternoon in December. The promotion runs from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at participating stores.
